Scanning, analyzing and interpreting what is beneath concrete is made easier with the scanning service of CTS. Our scanning service provides a real‐time view of what is inside concrete structures and generates true images automatically for direct on‐site evaluation of scanned data.


CTS has a Digital Control Unit (GSSI Structure Scanner, made in USA), which is a non‐destructive device that can locate PT tendons, MEP inserts, Live Cables and hollow core strands inside the concrete structure. We can detect metallic and non‐metallic objects in real time—so that we can drill, cut or core with a lesser risk of costly damage to wiring, pipework or structural reinforcement making core drilling / cutting on your concrete structure hassle-free. Professionally qualified  Civil Engineers, who are trained by GSSI (USA), execute all the scanning work for CTS.

Our 2D & 3D scanning services on Concrete Structures comes with an option of providing a detailed report with our interpretations, recommendations and scanned images. We also accurately mark the re‐bar layout, which will help the client in performing drilling/coring to avoid the cutting of rebar’s and conserves the structural strength of the concrete.

Diamond wire sawing allows almost any large concrete or masonry structure to be cut where other methods are not feasible. It is an ideal tool for cutting and removing reinforced concrete, such as bridge sections, jetties, columns or beams. Diamond wire sawing is particularly useful when extremely thick and/or awkward shapes need cutting. A diamond beaded sawing wire can be wrapped around almost any size or shape of reinforced / mass concrete or masonry structure.

The wire is fed through a series of pulleys, and tensioned to suit the operator’s requirements. Once positioned, the diamond sawing wire is pulled and rotated around the object at 25 linear meters per second. This enables the diamond beads attached to the wire to cut the material as it is pulled through.

Diamond Wire Cutting produces less kerf and wasted materials compared to solid blades (slurry wire may be similar). On very expensive materials, this could save hundreds or thousands of dollars of waste. Unlike slurry saws that use bare wire and contain the cutting material in the cutting fluid, DWC uses only water or some fluid to lubricate, cool the cut, and remove debris. On some materials DWC may not need water or cutting fluid, thus leaving a clean dry cut.


Diamond drilling and Coring is a quiet, non‐percussive way of forming holes and openings. The result is free from bursting or spoiling and requires little or no reinstatement work. Water and dust control attachments can be used when work occurs in a clean environment.

There are two main types of diamond drilling used: wet drilling and dry drilling – both techniques providing precise holes through all types of base materials such as mass concrete, reinforced concrete, brick masonry, and block work.

Different attachments range from trailer mounted coring rigs, hand‐held drill motors, twin column assemblies, and automated rigs, all of which are used and specified to suit all drilling environments. Having the right drill rig and set‐up can be the difference between a successful and non–successful operation being carried out. To make precise holes in the range from 12mm to 1000mm diameter reinforced concrete. Core drilling can make holes at size of 50 mm dia. up to 1000 mm dia. up to 5m long.

Chasing is often associated with Mechanical & Electrical trades where chases for conduits and pipe work are required in a wall, floor, or ceiling of masonry or concrete structures. We carry out chasing using hand held equipment with a blade attached. Two slots are cut at a predetermined depth and then the center of the channel is removed using a lightweight hand held breaker. By attaching vacuum equipment, dust is controlled and contained before it reaches sensitive areas or other trade people working adjacently.
